As I roamed around this park, I noticed how it seamlessly connected modern civilization and nature. The park boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna, and I couldn't help but notice how well the park was maintained. The River Plains section of the park was particularly interesting, as it used to be a concrete canal before being transformed into a 3km naturalized river habitat. The park's various ponds were well-populated with fish and birds, and I even saw a family of otters playing in one of them! I would recommend visiting early in the morning when the air is cool and crisp. Overall, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park showcases how a concrete jungle can be transformed into a nature paradise with proper planning and care.
