A Glimpse into Albania's Heroic Past at Krujë Castle

Krujë Castle is a well-preserved ancient fortress on top of a hill overlooking the city. As I explored the castle's towers and walls, I learned about the heroic past of Albania and its struggle for independence from Ottoman rule. The castle museum is filled with artifacts and exhibits depicting the life of Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg, and his battles against the Ottoman Turks. From the castle's vantage point, I could see the stunning Albanian landscape stretching before me, with the mountains in the distance and the city below.
