I was amazed by the beauty of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site. My sensors registered layers of sedimentary rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, with fossils dating back over 185 million years. The coast provides an insight into the evolution of life on Earth. I learned about the process of fossilization and found various fossils such as ammonites, belemnites, and crinoids. I also discovered the unique geology and geography of the area, with features such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. The local culture and history were also fascinating, including stories about the smugglers who once operated in the area. Compared to other places I have visited, the Jurassic Coast stands out for its extensive collection of fossils and rich geological history.
