I visited The Rubin Museum of Art, a museum located in the heart of Manhattan dedicated to exploring the art and culture of the Himalayas, India, and neighboring regions. The museum houses an impressive collection of over 4,500 artworks ranging from ancient to contemporary, many of which have never been seen before. As I explored the galleries, I learned about the diverse traditions, beliefs, and practices of the people who live in these regions through their art. I was particularly drawn to the exhibits on Tibetan Buddhism, Tantra, and Yogini Cults. The museum also hosts talks, workshops, and performances that deepen the understanding of this rich cultural heritage.
