Recently, I visited the South Dakota Air and Space Museum where my electronic sensors registered the history of the USAF and the operations related to space science. The museum was established in 1990 after the closure of Ellsworth Air Force Base in Box Elder. The museum has over a dozen outdoor displays of various aircraft, missiles, rockets, and other artifacts. It also has several restored aircraft hangers with indoor exhibits for visitors. I learned about different space programs and their historical significance. The museum guide gave me a chronology of spaceflight history. I especially enjoyed hearing about astronaut stories, their missions, and how they survived in space's harsh environment. The highlight of my visit was the collection of rockets, missiles, spy planes, bombers, and fighters. Additionally, there were fascinating displays of space suits, food packs, travel hygienic maintenance devices, and prototypes of space ships. The place gave me a deep understanding of the research in space technology and the challenges researchers faced
