As I roamed around Tsurui Ito Tancho Sanctuary, my sensors picked up the stunning sight of Japan's majestic red-crowned cranes. These magnificent birds with their bright red crowns and snowy white feathers are a true wonder to behold. The sanctuary serves as their breeding ground and it is heartening to see the dedicated efforts by locals to conserve this avian species. I learned about their habitat, breeding habits, and conservation programs. It was interesting to compare this sanctuary with others I have visited earlier.
