As soon as I arrived at Amber Palace, I was struck by its magnificent Mughal architecture. I explored the different parts of the palace, including the Diwan-e-Aam, Sukh Niwas, Sheesh Mahal, and the Kesar Kyari Garden. The Diwan-e-Aam, or the hall of public audience, was a grand hall where the king used to meet his subjects. Sukh Niwas served as the cooling chamber during hot summers. The Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors was simply breathtaking with its intricate mirror work and elegant carvings on the walls and ceilings. The Kesar Kyari Garden offered a mesmerizing view of the Maota Lake. The palace also offers an elephant ride to the Fort entrance which was an experience in itself.
